SculpSure is a noninvasive body contouring system by Cynosure® that reduces stubborn fat in areas such as the abdomen and love handles. This is the chief competitor to CoolSculpting, which is another option for nonsurgical liposuction. SculpSure utilizes a hyperthermic laser to specifically target fat cells on almost anywhere on the body. This innovative, nonsurgical liposuction procedure destroys up to 24% of fat cells and is ideal for people with trouble spots — particularly those that seem resistant to diet and exercise. Another great benefit is that SculpSure can be used for treating up to four different areas in a given session. Call Austin-Weston, The Center for Cosmetic Surgery in Reston, VA to schedule an appointment with one of our talented plastic surgeons today.
"I went in for a SculptSure consult and they were able to do the procedure the same day.The nurse did a FANTASTIC job, walking me thru the process before hand, telling me what to expect. She then sat with me during the procedure and talked with me to calm my nerves. She made the 25 minute procedure a breeze!I also had laser work done on my face for Rosacea by Savannah. She too was fantastic, putting my mind at ease with easy conversation to make the procedure fly by. I highly recommend Austin-Weston and their staff."- E.S. / Yelp / Mar 02, 2017

"Wow! This place is great. This was my first time ever going for a cosmetic procedure and let me start off by saying how friendly and kind the staff are here. Like, all of them were so nice. I am 23 and I went in for a consultation for sculpsure and also some injectable fillers for my mouth area. The doctor walked me through all of the options that would best fit my body type regarding the body contouring, though I ended up not going through with it for now until I have more money coming to me . HOWEVER I did get to address something that has been troubling me for a while, which was my asymmetrical lips (top one was a lot smaller than bottom) and the start of nasolabial folds (I hope I spelled that right). I am super into preventative skin care, and these were problem areas that simply could not be fixed with any at-home skincare tricks. I felt very embarrassed by them because even though I am 23, I felt like it was making me look older. So the doctor took the time to listen to all of my concerns and was INCREDIBLY SKILLED AND INTUITIVE when placing the injections. I actually have him a hug afterwards because I was so happy with the results immediately . So all-in-all I think this place is wonderful at what they do, making you look and feel your best and treating your unique problem areas in a safe and comfortable environment."- C.F. / Yelp / Sep 18, 2019
"Emily Taylor at the Austin-Weston Center recently did my BOTOX and SculpSure treatment and I cannot express how happy I am! She was very professional, caring and honest. She made me feel extremely comfortable as I was very nervous. The office is very nice and the staff was very generous and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this practice! I will be going back and referring all of my friends."- C.O. / Yelp / Nov 20, 2019
"Doctor Weston performed a rhinoplasty, chin implant and direct neck sculpting for me back in September and I am very pleased with the results. I am a 24yr old male and I always wanted a “stronger” chin and smaller nose. Dr. Weston and the staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. They covered all aspects of the surgery with me and were good about answering my questions. The surgery itself went just as expected and I am thrilled. Now looking at the 3 months post-op pictures compared to my before pictures, I am very happy with my decision and choosing Dr. Weston."- Anonymous / RateMDs / Dec 25, 2011
SculpSure offers the latest advances in laser lipolysis, which makes it more effective than other nonsurgical liposuction procedures that require multiple treatment sessions. It is also safe for all skin types and utilizes a Contact Cooling™ system that provides a comfortable experience. Since SculpSure does not require incisions, patients do not have to worry about tissue scarring.
During/After the Procedure
SculpSure only takes about 25 minutes to perform and does not require any anesthesia. In a single session, up to four areas can be treated to reduce the appearance of fat. During the procedure, the SculpSure handpiece is held in place over the stubborn fat using a belt system. The targeted areas are taken through a cycle of heating and cooling, killing the fat cells under the skin. Once these cells die, it takes about 6 weeks for the body to naturally process the unwanted fat. Patients should have at least 2 treatments, 6 weeks apart to have an optimal result and a slimmer and tighter contour. After the procedure, patients can resume their normal activities but strenuous exercise should be avoided for 1 – 2 days.

Unlike surgical liposuction, SculpSure is a noninvasive procedure that allows for fat cell removal. The result is not that of liposuction, but it is a good option for patients who are not surgical candidates or who do not have the downtime to recover from liposuction. It is especially ideal for men and women who have minor or moderate pockets of fat on various areas of their body. If you desire a slimmer silhouette, call Austin-Weston today to set up an appointment.
