Our pressure-free consultation is the time to tell our team what you want your body to look like. Our job is to listen and to determine what procedure best fits you and your desires. At the consultation, your doctor will explain your options, what to expect during and after the procedure, and answer all your questions. If SculpSure is an option, our physicians will use their expertise and artistic eye to determine which areas of tissue are best treated with SculpSure. If liposuction or a tummy tuck are necessary to achieve your desired look, we’ll discuss that as well It’s important to keep in mind that SculpSure removes only 24% of the amount of fat that liposuction can eradicate.
SculpSure only takes about 25 minutes to perform and does not require any anesthesia. In a single session, up to four areas can be treated to reduce the appearance of fat. During the procedure, the SculpSure handpiece is held in place on the skin, over the problem fat using a belt system. The targeted areas are taken through a cycle of heating and cooling, killing the fat cells under the skin. Patients should have at least two treatments, six weeks apart for optimal results and a slimmer and tighter contour. After the procedure, patients can resume their normal activities, but strenuous exercise should be avoided for one to two days.
Once SculpSure kills the fat cells it takes about six weeks for the body to naturally clear them. , Dluring this time, you can go about your healthy lifestyle and watch your treated areas shrink. (This is about the same period of time needed for liposuction patients to see results.) By drinking lots of water and continuing to keep up with your exercise routine (minus the two days after treatment), your results will look even better with time. There is no bruising or known complications for SculpSure.
