My Dear Dr. Sigal,
If I were a poet, I would be better able to express the new-found happiness you’ve given me.
I’ve lived a very good life and have been blessed in innumerable ways, and worrying bout my appearance should not have played a part in my outlook on this life. I suppose, however, the curse of being human got to me; I was miserable in my own skin.
Testimonial for plastic surgeon, Dr. Robert SigalShopping for clothing was no fun; I avoided invitations to so many events because I didn’t feel I’d “look right”. I have passed on cruises, trips to the pool or beach, parties and more because I was so unhappy with my appearance.
It took considerable “self-talk” to get me to face you about this body. Cheri was so certain I’d be thrilled with the outcome of anything you’d do and with her encouragement, and your confident manner, I was able to overcome the indecision.
I am so happy with my new look and the new feeling I have about myself. My wonderful husband, who loved me even when I looked like a sharpei, is thrilled with the new me; he never held me back from doing this surgery, but assured me daily that I didn’t “need” it. He totally understands now what the transformation means.
I thank you, sincerely, for your loving nature and your skill and dedication. Please let your wonderful staff know that they contributed in a great way to a life-altering experience that has meant the world to me. It is important that you know, too, how lucky you are to have people like them surrounding and supporting your talents.
I could go on, but I’ll put it simply, I love you!
God bless you and yours always,
N.N.
Thank you so much for being such a wonderful doctor. I just wanted you to know that it has only been three and a half weeks since my surgery and I am already living pain free! After living with breast pain for three years, I could not have imagined what it would be like to wake up everyday and without any pain physically and emotionally. Not only do I feel great, but I love my new physical appearance. I have already lost 6 pounds and am down to my normal weight and on to my way to being very healthy again! You have changed my life. I have already referred two people to you and plan to refer more. Everyone thinks that I look great! I can't wait to see you at my four month visit and will return for anything else I feel that I need. You are an angel in my eyes! I just want to say thanks to you and all of your staff for a great experience from start to finish. You all made my surgery and recovery process wonderful!"

Dear Dr. Sigal,
I finally have gotten the chance to sit down a write a letter of thanks to you and your staff! It has been quite a while since I have seen you, but I have fond memories (and some scary) of you, my surgery, supporting staff, and my healing process. Thank you so much for everything! I do not regret my decision to have a breast reduction for one second!
The last time you saw me, my breasts had gotten a little larger than the size that they were right after the surgery. I feel that it was due to weight gain or maybe my breasts were rebelling. Who knows? You’ll be happy to know that I am on a serious, but safe, diet and am working hard to lose those extra pounds. I finally discovered the willpower within me to do this. The next time that I see you (yes, there will be a next time), I want to look fabulous!
Once again, thank you for everything that you have done for me! This kindness, medical attention, genuine concern, and smiling staff are greatly appreciated!
With sincere thanks,
E
P.S. – Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

You both participated in making the above in my life spring into action where my body was concerned.
Thank you again.
Dear Ruby and Joy,
Thank you for being part of the “winning” team (smile) which made my dream come true and restored to me more than you can imagine. You’re special and gave me something special as well.
Blessing,
G.O.

Dear Dr. Austin and Staff,
I can’t begin to express my gratitude for all that you have done for me.
It has given me the confidence and self assurance to pursue my career in music. I recently have become the head of the voice and musical theatre department at the Expressive Dance and Fine Arts Center, and I do not think I would have had enough belief in myself to take this position if I had not had the support of everyone at your establishment.
I also would like to thank you for the kind attention my husband received when Dr. Poindexter operated on his face for cancer.
This has meant so much to both of us. It has been such a meaningful experience.
Thank you again,
B

Dear Dr. Poindexter and each staff member involved with my care,
Each one of you has been so nice
It makes it very hard
To put so much real gratitude
Into a single card.
But if each one of you will read
Between the lines, you’ll know
This brings a “thank-you” more sincere
Than words could ever show.
God Bless each of you.
Love,
C.S.

Dear Dr. Weston,
It’s been 6 ½ months since my surgery and I continue to do well.
You and your staff have been most accommodating, friendly and encouraging. Your kind reassurance gave me the courage to finally decide with the surgery, which I have been putting it off because of fear. I have no regrets!
So to you, “Thank you”. To all your staff – “Hugs and Thank you” You are really the “Right Staff”!
Of course for me, I love my face.

Dear Dr. Weston,
I hope you and your family are well.
Thank you so much for the wonderful work that you did on my chin. It has made an amazing difference in the way I feel. It has removed the negative feeling I had whenever I saw a photo that showed my double chin or caught my profile in a mirror. Thank you always!

Dr. Sigal, 7 Jan 2003
It’s been 3 ½ weeks since you performed a tummy tuck and flank liposuction procedure on me. Your talent as a surgeon is evident every time I look in the mirror and hardly recognize myself! I can’t begin to thank you and your staff enough for all you’ve done for me. The flower arrangement I received from your center was beautiful and much appreciated. Your bedside manner is impeccable and I’ll miss not seeing you on a regular basis. Thanks again for making my life’s journey so much better!
…from simple but sincere me!
Love,
S.P.
P.S. Upon my retirement from the federal service, I will no longer walk the halls of the Pentagon. However, I’d love to walk the halls of your clinic if there’s an employment opportunity you believe I’d be qualified for on your staff!

Dear Patti,
Thank you for including me on your mailing list. The “History of the Austin-Weston Center” is interesting reading – and a phenomenal success story! IT accurately describes what has been my experience as a patient at the Center. The staff is warm, considerate and competent. Dr. Austin was always cheerful and tireless in his efforts to please his patient.
Plans for the Center’s move and expansion sound awesome! Be sure to let us know when it happens. – Having seen his dreams come to fruition should ease the “Elder’s” transition into retirement some day.
My best wishes to you and the rest of the staff. May you experience much success in all of your endeavors.
Fondly,
M.E.A.

Hello Mary:
It has being a while. I have had plenty of time to think about my surgery since my first visit to the clinic. I also considered points made by Doctor Weston. I thought about eradicating the tail end of my smile line via collagen implants for now, understanding that that is a temporary procedure. I will later decide if I need a full surgery if the temporary collagen implant doesn’t work at all.
I have to complement you all. You are all lovely ladies. As “nervous” as I was, you made me feel relaxed. Dr. Weston is a very funny and down-to-earth man. That made me even more comfortable. I will email him under separate cover shortly. I overheard someone mention that the clinic is moving to a location. That will definitely help in terms of parking area.
I will call you before the week runs out. How’s your associate? The other lady that worked with you on the day I was in the clinic. She’s beautiful too.
Thank you
V.A.

Dear Dr. Weston,
I just want to tell you again, what a pleasure it was to meet you.
When I was given a follow-up appointment with you, I told my husband I expected you to be different, since you had not treated me before. Well, what a surprise, you walked in and made me feel just as comfortable as Dr. Sigal has always made me feel.
I guess to feel comfort with any doctor is important for me. Everyone I have met there has made me feel comfortable since the first day I walked into the office.
The people who attended me before and since my surgeries have always made me as though I am part of your little family.
Dr. Sigal is the greatest, he not only makes me feel comfortable but also make me feel safe and always assures me all is well and on schedule.
Today (enclosed), I ran across a little picture that summarizes how I feel about cosmetic surgery for me, I know it isn’t for everyone, but for me it was the right thing. I have never had a regret, never a thought that I would not have gone through it all. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Thank you all so much for your treatment, kindness, comfort and feelings of safety. I could spend many more thousands of dollars on cosmetic surgery, but these are the things money can’t buy.
Thank you all at Austin-Weston from someone who is very happy with the emerging new me. My husband loves it also.
I can’t wait until this flower is through blooming and this little kitten can really give a lion’s roar.
God Bless you all,
W
Dear Dr. Sigal,
I recall leaving your office with what I thought was anquish on your face; but, I want you to know that my face is almost healed. I shall make an appointment later so that you may document your outstanding skills.
I am truly thankful and most appreciative of your excellent care and gentle kindness. (am thankful to Pattie also).
Sincerely,
L.
Wishing you a warm heart and love to spare - today, and every day.
D.
Dr. Sigal,
Just a token of appreciation for your skill as a surgeon and your goodness as a person. Certainly thin thighs are every girl's dream, but banishing the bald spot was tops on my list. You are a genius! a master! an artist!
Thanks again!
- M.H.
Dear Dr. Sigal,
When I was in to see you on Friday, I was so anxious to go over my "list" of concerns/questions that I neglected to tell you how pleased I am with the surgery you performed on me and what a nice job you did.
Also, the attentiveness, care, and personable manner demonstrated by you, Cass and the rest of your team really makes a difference.
Thank you!
See you in a couple of weeks.
J.S.
Dr. Sigal,
Thanks a lot for your support and good attention. You've helped me become less of a caterpillar and more of a butterfly.

Capture the magic.
Hi Dr. Sigal,
Well, you sure helped me to capture some magic this year by doing such excellent work on my face. Each time I look in the mirror, stop to really look, and smile, not turn away, I thank you and all the talented nurses who assisted you.
I wish you and all who have helped me, worked on me, talked to me, encouraged me there the most wonderful holidays imaginable.
All the best to the Best
- J. W.
P.S.--thanks so much for sending Jennifer in to talk to me about losing weight. She inspired me to get to it, and I've made some real progress in slimming down. (yay!)
Have I mentioned how grateful I am?
Dr. Sigal,
Thank you BIG TIME!
All of you are great - the cosmetic surgery has been and continues to be a wonderful experience.
I've been referring you guys - people are asking.
L.P.
PRIOR TO PROCEDURE:
Dear Dr. Sigal,
I have contemplated for a few years whether to have a breast augmentation preformed. After realizing that I would most likely regret not having the procedure done, I decided to have a consult. The Austin-Weston Center came highly recommended by previous breast augmentation patients. After the initial consult I was certain that this was a procedure I wanted to pursue. Eagerly gathering my f finances, I then had a second consult about a year later and subsequently scheduled my pre-op and surgery date that day.
My biggest fear of the procedure was the risk of having any or all of my breasts become numb or desensitized from the procedure and choosing the appropriate size. I was also concerned that the size I choose (31 0 cc) might be a bit smaller than I would like; however, I did not want the risk of visible "rippling" from the next size (390 cc).
POST PROCEDURE:
Dr. Sigal,
It has only been 2 1/2 weeks and I can't thank you enough for your surgical expertise.
Not only do I have all the sensation in my breasts, I have a confidence I never thought possible through this procedure (and still a little pain - as to be expected). I can finally buy a bra from Victoria's Secret that I love, fits and doesn't have padding! You have proportioned my breast to my figure and I am very happy to say the least. I just want to say "thank you", again in admiration of your surgical ability. You will be highly recommended on my list.
Sincerely,
C.G.
Dear Dr. Sigal,
I have been meaning to write this note for some time now but always got side tracked. However, this weekend I was in Boston at a fancy event and received so many compliments on my looks - especially from my escort - that I could no longer postpone it.
I want to say thank you! for taking the care in giving me a rejuvenated face. Everyone who knows I had a facelift invariably says "you look so natural" and "he did a great job". Those who don't know, study me trying to define or discern the difference. When they can't figure it out they tell me I never looked so good. That's when I tell them a great haircut does wonders.
However, I know that it was your skill as a surgeon and your creativity coupled with a keen sense of insight that made the difference.
So, again, let me say thanks. I couldn't be more pleased.
Sincerely,
B.K.

To a very special Dr. Sigal & his wonder staff,
Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for everything you people have done for me. Nothing will ever be enough to repay you all except everytime I look in the mirror. I smile. You will always be remembered & a long time referral.
Take Care God Bless & my Family thanks you as well!
Eternally thankful,
M.L.C.

I just wanted to let you know how lucky I feel that our paths crossed and that you were my surgeon. From the time I first met you I felt completely at ease with all the unknowns. During our initial meeting you said two things that I have always believed: You have to go with your own gut feelings and this is a leap of faith. I put my trust in you and was well rewarded by the results of your talent. You have put a brightness back in me and I thank you.
L.B.
Dr. Sigal,
I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your generosity of your time as well as the kindness that you have bestowed upon me.
Throughout my life, I have always battled with my hips, buttocks and legs. The fact that you were so receptive in bringing my back in a second time to achieve that "straight line" along my hips, means more to me than I can express.
I feel very fortunate to have a surgeon like you who is not only talented in his "art work", but who also has a very big heart.
Sincerely,
J.M.
Dear Dr. Austin, Weston and Dr. Sigal,
I am writing this letter to let you know how delighted I am with the results of the two procedures performed on me at The Austin-Weston Center by you, Dr. Sigal.
In May 1997 I had an abdominoplasty, a major effort for Dr. Sigal considering the state of my former figure, and this year in February you, Dr. Sigal, gave me a new face. Just getting dressed and catching my reflection in a mirror is a daily joy and reminder of the wonderful treatment I received and continued to receive at your establishment, delivered with sincere and professional concern for my well-being.
I also want to congratulate you on having collected a superb support staff, i.e., Rona, Kathy, Robyn, Carolyn, Cameron, Kristen, Mary, among others, who are unfailingly helpful, polite and charming at all times.
Whenever an opportunity presents itself to recommend cosmetic surgery I mention your offices and show myself off, since I am already a walking advertisement.I have no qualms people knowing that I have been "surgically altered" and, if suitable, you can use me as an example any time.
With warmest regards,
A.M.K.
Dr. Sigal,
Just wanted to say thank you for going the EXTRA mile for me and that I really appreciate it.... Hope you like them!
M.J.
Dr. Sigal,
I wish to extend my appreciation to you and your staff for your attention and expertise during my reconstructive surgery performed at your center earlier this month. It was a refreshing change from the usual medical encounter to which I have grown accustomed.
To me, the skill and dedication of you and your staff are models of care and compassion.
I wish all of you a happy holiday!
Very truly yours, J.R.
Dear Dr. Sigal,
When I first came to you I had a dream that I have secretly carried my entire adult life. In my assumption that I couldn't have it all, yet unable to release it, I telepathically "willed" you to "know" my dreams - silly, poignant.
I dutifully entered surgery knowing that my body would be greatly improved and that I would be pleased, chastizing myself to suppress that damn dream.
Upon awakening from surgery somehow I just knew. My hands began to glide over my body feeling my dream. I was washed with joy, magic had happened, and I did have telepathic abilities!
Presently, I'm staying the course of recovery tolerating lumpy, sore bruises and swollen to my former plumpness, trying to control the giddy delight of what I know I will be in three months.
Dr. Sigal, thanks for the "knowing" - thanks for the joy. M.M.
Dear Dr. Sigal,
I am writing this letter on the afternoon of my post-op visit to your office.
After I left the Austin-Weston Center today, I ended up sitting in our car and crying--not because I was upset, but because I was so deeply relieved. With one glimpse of my "before" photos in your office, I realized just how much you had done during my surgery.
In my younger years, I had a nice figure and didn't think much about my appearance. Then, after giving birth to two (large!) babies, one of them by Cesarean section, I had gained 60 pounds and lost any semblance of muscle tone in my stomach. I also had two abdominal surgeries over a six-year period, which left my belly even more disfigured. I was tired of spending my youth being misshapen and miserable.
When I finally summoned the courage to come to your office for a consultation, I was deeply embarrassed to have even a surgeon or nurse see me unclothed. You can imagine how difficult it was to go to the pool in a bathing suit or, worse, have my husband see me unclothed. (This inhibition even contributed to the breakup of my six-year marriage). While filling out the forms in your office that first day, I refused to give permission for the Austin-Weston Center to use my "before and after" photos; even though they would have been anonymous, I was too embarrassed to have them seen by anyone.
Now, three weeks after an abdominoplasty and major liposuction, I still have swelling and pain, and a large incision scar from hip to hip. Yet even with the scar and considerable swelling, I am already wearing shorts and panties that are one to two sizes smaller. I have an actual waist now, and a much flatter belly.
I've already been able to enjoy appreciative looks from strangers; the relief of throwing away the "circus tent" shorts; the delight in wearing bikini underwear for the first time in seven years. What's more, you not only removed the ugly purple scar left on my hip from a previous operation, but also fashioned an adorable new belly button to replace the old one. What a wonderful bonus!
