Meet two of our staff members who recently tried Dermaplaning
 Maria Wilson, Marketing Director
Maria loves trying new procedures and products, especially when it comes to making her face look smoother and glowing. "I've always had acne and now that I'm in my 40's, I now struggle with hair on my face and melasma (brown spots)." Dermaplaning is one of those procedures she has considered, but assumed it would hurt or was not for her. After a lunch-time conversation with our Aesthetician, Wendy, Maria signed up for a Biomedic Micropee, which includes dermaplaning and a Biomedic Peel. Maria was a perfect candidate. The dermaplaning was combined with a peel and because of her sensitive skin, Wendy selected the Biomedic LHA peel. Her skin is glowing and it looks great! The hair is gone and she is hooked. By the way, this procedure did not hurt! She will probably alternate monthly appointments between the Micropeel and Microdermabrasion. Donna enjoys having occasional facials at the Austin-Weston Center, but has never tried dermaplaning or microdermabrasion. She enjoyed her treatment and didn't realize how much facial hair she actually had. After her treatment, Donna's face felt slightly rough for several days. Dr. Poindexter restored my husband's handsome face following an accident that left the lower portion of his face scarred and deformed. The level of comfort and satisfaction he and I felt led me to inquire about some of the other aspects of AWC.
What I pleasantly discovered is that the Aesthetique's staff provides very beneficial services in support of the entire practice.
